Wishbone Headband by Susann Hummel

This is my first time trying provisional cast on in knitting. Apparently, it's not as difficult as I thought. The result is prettier and cleaner too.

T4B: put 3 sts on cn and hold in back, k the next sts, p k p from cn
T4F: put 3 sts on cn and hold in front, k the next sts, p k p from cn

CO 24 sts with provisional cast on.
Begin a row with: K2 P4 K2 P8 K2 P4 K2
Then begin and end EVERY single row with K2 for the border
Row 1: C4B P2 T4B T4F P2 C4F
Row 2, 4, 6: P4 K2 (P K)x3 P2 K2 P4
Row 3: K4 P2 (K P)x3 K2 P2 K4

Row 7: K4 P2 K P K3 P K2 P2 K4
Row 8: P4 K2 P K P3 K P2 K2 P4

Ending with RS and live yarn at the back, join with kitchener stitch:
Front needle: purlwise; back needle: knitwise
Repeat these: front needle: knitwise-slip, purlwise; back needle: purlwise-slip, knitwise
